Committee Members Needed!
The NSN DC/Baltimore chapter is on the move!
We have an exciting slate of events planned and we are actively pursuing
our agenda of becoming the Premier chapter of NSN in the country -- but we
need your help to get there!
The most important work of the chapter is
accomplished by members who serve on committees and we need you to get
involved! Our committees are as follows:

Conference Committee (Jawondolyn McAllister,
Chairperson) is responsible for the local chapter’s contribution to,
participation in, and attendance at the NSN Annual Conference.

Finance Committee (Cheryl Easterling,
Chairperson) is responsible for raising money
for the organization and ensuring we have capital with which to operate.

Marketing Committee (Erricka Brooks,
Chairperson) is accountable for marketing the organization to the
public. This includes press releases, flyers, internal communication or
any other materials and/or methods used to promote the organization.

Membership Committee (Erin Steptoe & Ashely Aronson, Co-chairs) is
responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the
number of NSN members.

Mentoring Committee (Kamari Simpson,
Chairperson) is responsible for developing and implementing NSN’s
effort to cultivate relationships internally (between members) and
externally (between organization members and the community).

Program Committee (Kym Barrett,
Chairperson) is responsible for planning and executing the various
programs of the organization, including workshops, seminars, speaker
engagements, and discussions panels and networking affairs.
